"Well one of the things that we are really pushing is to make Redmond Linux very, very easy to use ... "From Microsoft's point of view they could target and fight against one company. They can't fight against a movement that's bigger than one or two or three specific companies. When you cannot target who you are fighting against your job gets harder."

Red Hat recently announced that it was expanding its e-commerce offerings by integrating Akopia's Interchange open source e-commerce application into the Red Hat e-commerce platform. Buried in the fine print of Red Hat's press release was the fact that Red Hat had acquired Akopia as part of this strategic move.
