Support for OpenBSD (within PHP in particular) has in the past been sketchy, but things appear to be improving now. PHP3 and MySQL are both in the ports tree distributed with OpenBSD 2.7, making installation and configuration a relatively simple process.

Description OpenBSD is yet another BSD derivative but one with a heavy accent on security. This is supposed to be the most secure OS and one of their main project goal is to the be the secure OS of choice. There is a greater integration of cryptographic software.
Development Status Active development with developers all round the world. The project is always on the lookout for more resources and help so see if you can get in and help them out.
