Microsoft has joined other companies in suing Android. That move was expected to come, considering Windows is expected to launch Windows Phone 7, with which patent protection is being offered. That makes life difficult for Google and the future of Android OS, which will could be viewed with doubt going ahead.

But Linux has a track record of surviving, so consider this as a step ahead in the evolution of Linux as a free operating system.
